Book Review
I was given Love You More: The Divine Surprise of Adopting My Daughter, by Jennifer Grant to review for Thomas Nelson. As adoption is something that we hope we are able to do some day I was very interested to hear about it from a parents viewpoint - the good and the bad - the process, the adjustment period - everything possible to know about adopting. I really enjoyed this book and the honesty of Grant's approach. I love that it touches on parenting too so anyone who wants to someday have children would really enjoy it. This book was heart wrenching yet humorous and one that I will recommend for a long time.

The Promise of an Angel
The Promise of an Angel was a great novel by Ruth Reid. I was shocked to know that this is her first novel as this was a fabulous story written in such a wonderfully concentrated style. I flew through it due to never wanting to put it down. Her main character, Judith, was wonderful and I felt like I was able to get to know her and her frustrations with not getting her friends and family to believe her. The story and the triangles within this story were addicting and I loved this unusual story. My favorite part about the book would have to be that it was based in Mecosta county, Michigan which is where my family lives and are friends with some of the Amish Families so I felt even more connected to this story.
I will be reading many other books by Ruth Reid as soon as she writes them and I can not wait to see what other stories she comes up with.

Awesome Inspirational Comedy!
I was given a copy of The Inconvenient Marriage of Charlotte Beck, by Kathleen Y'Barbo from Waterbrook Publishers and I really enjoyed every page! It's been a while since a book really has taken me by surprise or offered something different from everything else out there and this one was great! Charlotte is a great main character with so much spunk and creativity that you cannot help but love her and be annoyed with her all at the same time. She's desperately trying to convince her father that she can be taken seriously when he offers her an ultimatum - stay at home at their Colorado ranch and keep her step mother company while she works on her paintings - or marry Viscount Hambly, go to college, and have a part in their company after she is finished. She choses to marry the Viscount and they make a plan to ditch the whole marriage as soon as they convince everyone that they are in love.
You should definitely read this book for a nice lite read and for loads of entertainment! :)

The Harvest of Grace was a wonderful sequel to the book The Bridge of Peace which I read a few months ago. Both books were written by Cindy Woodsmall. The Harvest of Grace finishes the story of Lena and starts a new story of Sylvia who is a young amish woman living with her family who has a heart for animals. She loves working with dairy cows and she enjoys the business of it. When someone close to her betrays her in one of the most hurtful ways and a while later she falls into temptation she chooses to run away from it and lands at a dying farm where she offers some hope and happiness to an older couple who just lost their daughter in an accident and their son ran off to rehab. Their son, Aaron comes home and has a goal to sell the farm but gives them 10 weeks of work to try to get them back on their feet. A friendship begins to form between the two former enemies but it doesnt seem like anything can save the farm.

The Final Summit
I really enjoyed reading The Final Summit, by Andy Andrews. I found it to be an incredibly easy and quick read even though it's a fairly large book. I loved every second of the reading and felt like I had my head in a book for the whole weekend until it was finished! This book really challenged my way of living. I'm a Christian, so it hit home for me and begged my to reexamine my life and look at where I place importance. I think this book would be a challenge and an excellent read to anyone who is interested! I received this book from the Book Sneeze program and I am freely giving it a 5 star rating!

Interesting Book! :)
I really enjoyed reading Love Food and Live well and was so excited to receive a free review copy from waterbrook publishing. I found this book to be extremely helpful to my current situation as a woman who loves to eat and loves to eat poorly. It really helped me to see how the bad choices and habits I'm making now really do effect the way I live and the quality of my life. I loved the encouragement that Chantel Hobbs offers in that you can still love food and enjoy eating - you just need to find the healthy food alternatives so that you are able to live fully. I enjoyed this book and will recommend it to anyone looking for a boost in their weight loss journey.

The Lightkeepers Ball
I received The Lightkeepers Ball, by Colleen Coble from Thomas Nelson to review and I fell in love with this book from the very beginning! Honestly, this book is one of the best I've read in a long time in that it's actually different from all of the others out there right now! The main character, Olivia, was very believable and I found her journey to be very interesting. Unfortunate events caused her to meet people she never would have before and those friendships that were formed were amazing to read about. I loved the relationship that developed between her and Harrison, and found him to be a great character too! I cannot say a bad thing about this book - only that it ended to soon :)
